The Dean and Chapter recently appointed four new trustees to join the board of the registered charity.
Following an open and transparent recruitment process, in line with charity law and guidance, the four trustees appointed will bring a wealth of experience and expertise from a wide range of professions.
- Andrew Gregory is the Director of Planning, Transport and Environment at Cardiff Council and is the proud father of a Cathedral chorister.
- As Head of Compliance at a major High Street bank, Jo Sheppard is an expert in governance. Along with her partner and son, Jo regularly attends the Sunday 9am service.
- Sian Roberts is a retired headteacher and a very well-known personality amongst cathedral congregations. She is the Dean’s Warden and a longstanding supporter of Llandaf Cathedral.
- Ian McDonald is our churchwarden and has worshipped at the cathedral for over 40 years. Before retiring, Ian was the General Manager of BT Openreach in North Wales and the Midlands.
Chaired by Ceri Weatherall, the board of trustees of The Dean and Chapter looks forward to an exciting new period in the life of the Cathedral under the leadership of Dean Jason Bray.
